You’re a GIS Pro mapping the development of your city

You’re a GIS Pro, mapping the development of your city. You make great maps with exceptional data. Problem is, a lot of your data is on another system. How do you keep your GIS updated with the latest data, and how do you keep your other systems updated with the latest GIS maps?

We can’t integrate all your systems, but we can integrate your Community Development data with your GIS. When GIS Pros get serious, they turn to MyGov. At MyGov, we automate everything

What do you struggle with?

I spend too much time keeping maps up to date!

Your clients and co-workers expect all your distributed maps to be the latest and greatest. Problem is, not all applications work seamlessly with your internal GIS.

With MyGov, you can easily link your ArcServer data to layers in the embedded MyGov GIS. Then, you can set the frequency of when to automatically refresh the data.

I struggle getting data collected in the field!

Use the MyGov GIS Mapping Tool to easily collect field data using any mobile device with Internet access.

You can also use the built-in GIS to create custom GIS layers and fields for data collection, then share these layers and fields with other departments, so they can collect the data for you.

I struggle mapping our current development activity!

As a Community Development Suite, MyGov tracks all of your development activity. Question is, how do you easily view this on a map?

MyGov solves this by allowing you to instantly map any activity list that has an associated location record, such as Jobs, Violations, Permits, Licenses and Inspections. Or, use the included custom report builder to automatically update GIS maps based on your selected development activity.

I need a way to easily share maps with my citizens.

Not all GIS software packages allow you to easily share maps with the general public. But, MyGov GIS gives you an easy way to share any map via the included Public Portal.

Better yet, MyGov allows you to create custom reports that auto-update data maps for public viewing, such as a monthly violations report, new home construction or pothole repairs.

It’s difficult mapping and routing all my inspections!

You may only do permit-related inspections, or you may handle permits, code, license and public works inspections. Regardless of the inspection type, MyGov easily maps and routes any inspection list.

Start your route from your current location or your office address and base the route on the fastest route or the current inspection order.

Frequently Asked Questions

Price

How much is this going to cost?

Click the button below and fill out the form, and we will send you a proposal.

Time

How long is this going to take?

Most agencies install GiS in a week. Time depends mostly on how quickly you submit the requested items. We will get our part done according to the agreed to implementation plan.

Training

What kind of training will we receive?

Excellent, online training from a dedicated trainer who will teach you how to run your system using your actual setup. Also, if you forget something, add new people or want to learn something totally new, all training is available to you using the built-in “MyGovU” – our online video learning platform.

Support

What is your support like?

Crazy fast with an average response time of less than four minutes on submitted support tickets. Yes, we use support tickets for all support questions. You are also welcome to call us, but the call will convert to a support ticket since this is our audit trail of all support interactions.

Imports

Can you import my GIS data?

Yep, we have a built-in import tool just for GIS. You can use the tool or use the built-in tool to link to ArcServer to auto-pull desired layers. FYI, we also have built-in import tools for all other modules and related data sets, such as locations, owners and contacts.

System Requirements

Are there any additional hardware or software I need to buy?

Yes and No. No, in that the system runs on any device that has Internet access and a browser. Yes, if you want to conduct work in the field, you need a good tablet with a cell connection to the Internet and a built-in camera.

Other Modules

Are there other modules that are required or recommended?

You can run GIS by itself, but most agencies also use the Code Enforcement and the Permits & Inspections modules. Code Enforcement allows you to seamlessly track violations, citations, abatements and hearings, while Permits & Inspections allows you to seamlessly track permits, reviews and inspections.

Getting Started

How do I get started?
